Creating their future and fulfilling a dream, Paul Ching, Peter Wong, Michael Huang and Andy Chen opened Sakana Oriental in January 2002. The restaurant started with Japanese and Chinese Cuisine along with a sushi bar and has now expanded the menu to include Thai, Vietnamese and fusion cooking dishes.

The family’s earlier business located in Oak Valley, gave them the opportunity to gain experience as restaurateurs and after only three years, Sakana Oriental was voted multiple times for both “The Best of Gloucester County” and Courier-Post Reader's Choice “Best of South Jersey.”
